Biography:

I qualified as a STAT trained Alexander teacher in 1984 and have been teaching full time since then.

I set up the Alexander Technique (AT) provision at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where I continue to teach an academic module in the AT to BMus students.

I have written extensively about the AT, and have chapters about to be published, one in 'Connected Perspectives' (HITE 2015) on 'Psychophysical Unity' and the other in 'Voice Studies: Critical Approaches to Process, Performance and Experience' (Routledge 2015) which is substantially about the AT in relation to vocal training. I am presently studying for an MA in Philosophy at Southampton University, mainly to support my project of writing a theory textbook on the AT for trainee teachers.
