Biography: 

Glenna Batson, P.T., Sc.D., M.A. is professor emeritus of Physical Therapy, Winston - Salem State University, USA and Research Associate Professor in Health and Human Sciences at Wake Forest University, USA.

An internationally recognized teacher of the Alexander Technique, she has taught in 13 countries. Her research has focused on balance and has addressed improvisational dance in Parkinson's, the Alexander Technique in fall prevention, and validation of dance-specific assessment tools.

She is co-editor of Dance, Somatics and Spiritualities: Contemporary Sacred Narratives and has authored Body and Mind in Motion (with Margaret Wilson).
